Description:
The customer is unable to retrieve the Department and Office Location attributes for the Affected Person within Oracle Analytics reporting.

We attempted to join the Case Management subject area (Table A) with the Workforce Management subject area (Table B) using the available common dimensions.

  • The join successfully returns Department and Location data for the Assigned To (Agent).
  • However, no Department or Location data is returned for the Affected Person or Contact, despite valid person records existing in the system.

Expected Behaviour:
Department and Office Location details should be available for the Affected Person when joining Case Management with Workforce Management subject areas, as these attributes exist for the same worker/person records elsewhere in analytics.

Actual Behaviour:

  • Data from Workforce Management is only populated for the Assigned To (Agent).
  • No valid join path or conformed dimension appears to exist for the Affected Person.
  • This prevents reporting and filtering cases by Affected Person Department and Location.

Business Impact:
This blocks a critical reporting requirement needed for operational analysis and upcoming go-live, where cases must be reported by Department and Office Location.

Request:
Please confirm whether:

  • this is a known reporting limitation or data model defect, or
  • a configuration/mapping issue exists preventing the join from returning data.
