We extensively use PAC to connect to Oracle Databases from Oracle Analytics Cloud
If a DV connection creation fails there is no logging reported to the Observability & Management
Please extend the amount of logging that can be seen rather than customers having to raise SRs to retrieve the actual error message
We have had 2 recent scenarios
- The Oracle Database had a login trigger that was failing , the returned error was retrieved via an SR but it would be much better if this could be self service as the SR Engineers are reluctant to look into this additional logging
- The entries in our PAC were too long and this caused 'unable to resolve host in DNS' entry ….the error message was not that accurate but it enabled us to concentrate on the correct area
