Enable Reporting Access to “Clicked” Metric in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) Campaigns
Product / Area
Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM → Recruiting (Oracle Recruiting Cloud - Campaigns)
Idea Summary
The “Clicked” metric is currently available and visible at the campaign level within the Oracle Recruiting Cloud UI. However, this metric is not exposed through any reporting mechanisms such as OTBI subject areas, BI Publisher, SQL access, or public APIs.
This limitation prevents organizations from leveraging this key engagement metric for centralized reporting, analytics, and performance tracking.
Detailed Description
In Oracle Recruiting Cloud Campaigns, users can view the number of “Clicks” generated by a campaign directly in the UI. While this metric is critical for measuring candidate engagement and campaign effectiveness, it is not available in:
- OTBI Recruiting Campaign subject areas
- BI Publisher data models
As a result, customers are unable to:
- Perform historical trend analysis
- Build dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Integrate campaign engagement data into enterprise analytics pipelines
This creates a disconnect between UI-visible metrics and enterprise reporting capabilities.
Business Impact
The absence of the “Clicked” metric in reporting impacts multiple areas:
- Marketing Analytics: Incomplete campaign performance measurement
- Recruitment Strategy: Limited ability to optimize sourcing channels
- Data-Driven Decisions: Inability to correlate clicks with applications or hires
- Operational Efficiency: Manual review required per campaign
Use Case
Recruitment marketing teams need to analyze campaign performance across multiple dimensions (time, location, job family, source).
Without access to the “Clicked” metric:
- They cannot calculate CTR (Click-Through Rate)
- They cannot benchmark campaigns
- They cannot automate reporting dashboards
Expected Behavior / Enhancement Request
Oracle should expose the “Clicked” metric through at least one of the following:
- OTBI Subject Area Enhancement
- Add “Clicked” as a measurable metric in Recruiting Campaign subject areas
- BI Publisher / Data Model Access
- Include the metric in underlying views or tables used for reporting
- REST API Enhancement
- Extend Recruiting Campaign APIs to return click engagement metrics
Proposed Solution
Expose the “Clicked” metric as a standard measure aligned with existing metrics such as:
- Sent
- Delivered
- Opened
- Responded
Ensure consistency across:
- UI
- OTBI
- APIs
Workaround (Current Limitation)
Currently, there is no direct workaround. The only available option is manual extraction by reviewing individual campaigns in the UI, which is not scalable.
As an alternative, users may rely on:
- “Responses” as a proxy metric (though it does not represent engagement accurately)
Priority / Justification
High Priority
This metric is fundamental for recruitment marketing analytics and is expected to be available in enterprise reporting tools. Its absence limits the ability to operate ORC Campaigns in a data-driven manner.
Additional Notes
This enhancement would align Oracle Recruiting Cloud with standard marketing analytics practices, where click tracking is a baseline KPI.
