Currently there is no documented OAC REST API to create or update a BI Publisher JDBC data source in the Publisher Administration page, manual approach is the only option available.
The requirement is to create JDBC connections in xmlpserver as below:
1. Connect to xmlpserver with an Admin user privileges and navigate to User icon – Administration – JDBC
2. Create DB connections
Automating the creation of JDBC connections in BI Publisher, would help streamline our upgrade process, eliminate manual intervention, and reduce the overall cutover time.
