Banner for ETL completion status

Hi,

OBIEE 12C

My client would like to have a Banner kind of representation about the ETL completion for 'today' while he logged in to the OBIEE .

I can put one table and log my ETL status for each step and use that Data for this purpose.

#1 Can we put this notification irrespective of a Dashboard? just somewhere in a login page ? or always on top like a logo?

#2 Can we restrict this display to a particular time? like only during first few hours of morning?

Hi Hesh

Your question is interesting, so just tried to find answer for your 2 question.

Yes this is possible by filtering the current_time between your required timings with narrative view will work absolutely fine.

Hi Hesh,

I think #2 is right thing to do, where you can actually check, change, edit at any point of time and #1 might be possible but i dont feel its right choice unless user asks for it.

#1 is more configuration side by Admin and that will not be flexible for any edits by developer. I wont recommend.
