When new analysts join, getting them confident in OAC takes a lot of hand-holding. The learning content exists, but it's scattered and none of it lives inside the tool. Managers also have no easy way to see who's ready to build and share content.
It would be great to have:
- A "Learn" panel in OAC with short guided paths by role, e.g. consumer, workbook author, data flow builder, semantic modeller
- Contextual "learn more" links on features like data flows, calculations and Semantic Modeler, pointing to the right doc page or MyLearn module
- Optional progress tracking that admins can view, so team leads can see skills coverage and plan CPD
- Links to the relevant Oracle Analytics certification once a path is complete
Business value:
- Faster onboarding and less reliance on a few super users
- Better quality content, as authors learn best practice before they publish
- Supports CPD and certification goals for analytics teams
- Higher adoption of OAC features customers are already paying for
