I have 2 dashboard pages on the same dashboard.

Each page contains an analysis with different subject areas.

The "edit" link is displayed under each analysis.

When I click on the edit link, one analysis allows me to edit.

The other analysis generates an error - You do not have access privilege for this subject area.

I specifically gave my user read/write access to the subject area on the repository as well as under Administration - Manage Privileges.

Still, I am not able to edit that one analysis.

When I log in as an admin, I can edit without a problem.

Are there are other places to add permissions?

I assume Administration - Manage Privileges is the lowest level of inheritance, so nothing else would change that permission.

Any help would be appreciated.

Any other Subject Area references left over in the XML of the malfunctioning analysis? Like saved filter from a since-renamed-SA?

Copy the XML into notepad and get digging.

    Thanks Christian.

It turns out that I had a <prompts> element at the bottom of my xml with the incorrect subject area.
