OBIA 7.9.6.4 Support End - What will happen to Informatica?

Hi Experts,

Recently it has come to my attention that Oracle announced OBIA 7.9.6.4 support end date is Jan,2018. https://blogs.oracle.com/proactivesupportEPM/entry/support_date_update_oracle_business

What will be its implications on Informatica usage? Organizations that started using Informatica as part of 7.9.6.4 and highly customized their ETL codebase on Informatica, do they have to compulsively migrate to ODI by Jan,2018 or is there any way out?  - If somebody could throw some light on this.
