BI Publisher 12.2.1.0.0 throws error when Japanese characters are present in the sub-template
Hi,
We are using BI Publisher 12.2.1.0.0.We have created a main RTF template and a few RTF sub-templates being called via the main-template.
The sub-template consists of JAPANESE characters as part of the requirement. When we upload and generate the report it throws the error “oracle.xdo.servlet.data.DataException: oracle.xdo.servlet.data.DataException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: oracle.xdo11g.xslt.XSLException: : XML-22049: (Error) Template 'Form1_p1' invoked but not defined.”
When we try to open the sub-templates it says file is corrupt.
Similar way, if we dont use a main template and instead use the sub-template directly as a report and upload it, the report gets generated properly even with JAPANESE characters.
Details of tools used:
BI Publisher Desktop version: 12.210.000.000
MS word 2013 (32 bit)
Can any one of you please help me on this as to how to generate correct report displaying japanese characters via main and sub-template method in BI Publisher 12C.
