Hi,
Is it possible to reference the prompts created purely in answers on the prompts tab?
i.e.
Date Column, filtered with IsPrompted
Prompt defined in Prompt Tab in answers for Date between
Is it possible to display the value of the From and To dates passed to the date in a similar fashion to which you can reference presentation variables in headings etc? @{MyVariable}{DefaultValue}
Note my data is displayed at detail level, so min max will not do it.
thanks,
Robert.

Hi Robert,
Don't think it's possible (without setting a variable).
The embedded prompt works directly on the same columns (replacing the hardcoded filter or the "is prompt"), but isn't defined as variable itself (automatically).
You have the "filter view" which will do that (but probably also show other things you would prefer to hide ...)

Have you tried it?
Because it's just like dashboad prompts. The prompt sets a variable. The variable hence is instantiated with a value. You display it. Period.
Just did it btw and works perfectly fine.

I maybe missed a bit reading ...
Of course if in the prompt you define to set a variable it works just like a dashboard prompt as Christian said.
If you don't define a variable there isn't a syntax to reference the values ( that's what my 1st answer was about).
