We recently upgraded from OBIEE 11g to OBIEE 12c (12.2.1.1.0) when you expand the Dashboards menu the arrow or scroll bar is no longer there like the previous version in OBIEE 11g. This version defaults to the "Alta" skin style. If I change it to "FusionFX" skin style the arrow is in the Dashboard menu. We have lots of dashboards, so I'm wondering why the Alta skin doesn't have this arrow?

Thank you for your reply. I'm wondering if by adding my customizations I somehow removed the arrows. This is what I see:Dashboard Menu missing top and bottom arrows.gif

What kind of customizations did you do, to which style did you ad d the customizations and how did you deploy them?

  • You are on 12.2.1.1.0 and deployed your own customization: did you used analyticsRes folder or EAR deployment?

I guess I saw many wrong links when using analyticsRes instead of EAR in 12.2.1.1.0, and Alta itself wasn't complete but using inheritance on other styles. So if you merge blafp, Skyros and then Alta you end up with lot less missing links.

In 12.2.1.2.0 it works better already (I'm going to look more in details into that in the coming days for a blog I'm working on).
