Insufficient Permissions for Accessing Visual Analyser

Hi ,

I am working on OBIEE 12.2.1.2.0.

I tried to create a new role in EM, but deleted afterwards. Accidently I have also deleted the few system roles and then tried to manually add it.

but after adding the similar roles, few Policies or members were missing. like Mobile App developer is not available in new Tab, not Sufficient permission to VA.

(Before this change the application is working fine)

So, I would like to know if it is possible to restore the system roles and policies.

I don't have any Back up of BAR file.

    No backup = no restore

    You will have to find what was deleted by yourself. List the granted rights and polciies through wlst and look through them

    Thanks for your reply Christian.

    Got so many documents from web which were quite ambiguous.

    It would be very helpful if you have any reference document having the list of standard rights and policies for OBIEE 12c.

    The BAR files which come with any 12c installation contain a perfect representation of those.

    Just open the BAR with 7zip and get yourself the jazn XML file. It contains all.
