Hi

We have installed OBIEE 12c, we have developed some reports in BIP (which is part of OBIEE --- not a standalone) and some dashboards in Analytics, due to some security, we want to limit one user for BIP reports only that user should not be able to login on Analytics.

Is it possible?

You need an Application Role which will host the security for that "BIP User". That BIP User app role will need the necessary application policies for BI Publisher but you wouldn't assign any OBI application policies to that role and deny it all analytics privileges.

Then you assign your user to that new app role. You don't assign it to any other app role like "BI Content Author" since otherwise he'd have access to analytics again.
