Prompt Value change automatically changin on other prompt value of same nature

Question

Hi All

I have 4 tab pages on my dashboard, when I change value of prompt from one page then it automatically change the value of prompt on other page.

Prompt is based on same dimension/ field.

I want to get rid of this issue, please guide

Fig.1, at start Year value is 2019

Fig.2, Value of Slider is 2019

Fig.3, I have changed value as 2018 on slider

Fig.4, it automatically change the value of Year as 2018 also vice versa.

Yes - that is less than intuitive - but I didn't have access to an OBIEE instance when your question landed - glad you got there!

Btw - remember the presentation variable 'trick' previously, you can also use this when you get prompts writing over values you do not want them to by using the presentation variable for the prompt value and then using the lock filter functionality.
