Create a Dashboard Template in OBIEE 12C

Question

Dear GURUS,

I am working on  OBIEE 12.2.1.4.

We are having a requirement where we have to create a Dashboard with a section added to it. This section contains a Narrative View/ Text View as shown below.

The question is: Can we create a template for the Dashboard and save it so that whenever a Developer is going to create a NEW Dashboard, the template will come?

Had thought about it as a sleaky way, but again wanted to take Expert Advise to see if anything like this exists as "default" in OBIEE.

Sure ... kind of ....

Save it somewhere, read-only access from devs, name it "whatever-name-you-want-template".

Devs are going to copy/paste it to have the template instead of an empty new dashboard.

That's what you can do.
