OBIEE Upgrade from 11.1.1.7.131017 to 11.1.1.9.0

Hi all,

We are trying to upgrade OBIEE from 11.1.1.7.131017 to OBIEE 11.1.1.9.0. During the upgrade as per Oracle doc we were successful in

WLS upgrade from 10.3.5 to 10.3.6, software only installation of OBIEE 11.1.1.9.0, psu.sh execution to upgrade the MDS and BIPLATFORM schemas

but while executing the config.sh the process just got stuck in Configuration of Oracle Business Intelligence Code Grants step and no error was thrown.

After waiting for sometime when we drilled down the steps we found that the step had failed. The log is attached.

There was no solution for this under the Troubleshooting section as well.

However in the 'About product' section of analytics page we are able to see 11.1.1.9.0 version being reflected. The key questions are;

1. Is there a solution to work around this issue?

2. If this issue can be ignored can the upgrade be considered successful?

3. If this issue is a problem to be resolved which components of the OBIEE does it really affect?
