Grand Total Formatting on Date Columns

I have an analysis that includes both amount and date columns.  It also includes a grand total line that correctly calculates the totals of the amount columns.

What I have found is that the grand total line contains a border around the date columns that do not exist on any of the other columns.

It also appears that the border does not exist in the line items above for these same date columns.  I've already checked to ensure there are no borders defined for these columns

The screen print below shows an example of what's happening.  Any ideas what might be causing this?  Thanks!
