I am on OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0 and when i tried importing essbase cube into admin tool , i am getting below error. Please share any inputs. Thanks in advance.
Essbase version is 11.

Do you have the Essbase client installed and the paths configured?
That was the cause in 11g, in 12c I don't remember (just because last time I loaded a cube was ages ago) if it's the same or it now goes via the javahost config on the server directly (but if that is the case I expect a message saying the javahost isn't set correctly).

I found a doc on Oracle support (doc ID 1368858.1) , ( it says for OBIEE 11.1.1.5 and later versions), in that they mentioned to set environment variables in "bi-init.cmd" and "opmn.xml" files ---- these are not present in OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0
then if that don't work, they suggested to set environment variables "ARBORPATH" and "ESSBASEPATH"
IF that still don't help then create a ".bat" file, set paths in that and then run it.

Could not find any doc on support site explicitly for OBIEE 12c versions, every article says "applies for OBIEE 11.1.1.X or later" versions.

So did you set those variables?!

Set both ARBORPATH and ESSBASEPATH, It did not help.
As a last option, will be creating that bat file and run.

I scheduled the report in OTBI and the agent was run successfully. However, I do not receive the report after the run in my inbox. The addresses are properly recorded, and the report is in an excel format and saved as a pivot table in otbi. What can be the cause?
