Cache purge using DDR in OBIEE12c

We recently upgraded our application from 11g to OBIEE12c. In 11g. We had implemented cache purge using DDR as shown in the screen shot below.  Here "ODBC_pool" was a connection pool defined in RD, it was using default system DSN "AnalyticsWeb".

The above setup was working fine in 11g, but when we migrated to 12, the above DDR stopped working and gives error

Any idea what has changed in 12c which is causing this issue.

    2.) Which "12c"? there were about 30 "12c" so far. Be exact.

    3.) What OS are you running this on? Exactly.

    4.) As which user are you running this?

    5.) How did you migrate? Exactly.

    6.) What rights does this user have? Exactly.

    Support would pretty much ask you to even provide a snapshot of your environment, so please provide the minimum information necessary to get help here.
