Is OAS 5.9 competible with RHEL 8.0 ? We just recently install OAS 5.9 on RHEL 7.0 but looking to upgrade. I can't seem to find out competibility chart of OAS 5.9.
Thanks guys~
You can see the current certification matrix here:
RHEL 8.0 is not there at the moment. Certification evolves over time but we can't comment on this in detail here. You can always open a Service Request for this.
Compatible? Maybe, could probably work.
Certified? No
It's a difference in wording which can mean a lot: if it's a sandbox you can live without a certified system, if it's production you would be really brave. Mainly because a not certified system could mean Oracle telling you the issue is your system and not their product.
OAS 5.9 is on the same FMW as 5.5, the 12.2.1.4, which itself is certified for OL and RHEL 8, but the current certification for OAS says it isn't.
You could try asking Oracle (via a SR) an official answer about the certification of RHEL 8 or the plans for it.

I scheduled the report in OTBI and the agent was run successfully. However, I do not receive the report after the run in my inbox. The addresses are properly recorded, and the report is in an excel format and saved as a pivot table in otbi. What can be the cause?
Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?

Does Oracle Analytics Server 2026 include AI features such as a built-in chatbot or AI Assistant? If not, are there any plans or indications that these AI capabilities will be introduced in a future OAS release?
