Hi,
I am new to BVT and trying to run it against OBIEE and OAS to compare their UI. However, I am encountering this OpenCV error and the browser does not launch. Is there anything you can recommend to solve this? Thank you.
Where are you executing BVT? (what environment, OS)
If you increase the log level to "FINEST" you will get the details of the IOException that is generating that error.
I'm on Windows 10. I checked the log and it said "The system cannot find the specified path" (of the plugin) though it is on the specified path. What seems to be the problem?
Did you find any solution to the BVT in OAS . IF yes , could you suggest what was the approach. We are in the phase of upgrading and this was a disappointing thing to find out that the BVT is no morein OAS.
Looking forward to your response.
You resurrected 3 old threads at least related to BVT.
BVT is gone, doesn’t exist anymore, it has been decommissioned and removed fully from everywhere.
It wasn’t built for an OBIEE to OAS upgraded, it was built to support a move to the cloud.
How did you validate your OBIEE upgrades so far? Do the same with OAS, because OAS is just OBIEE with a different name and a whole new piece (DV).
Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
Does Oracle Analytics Server 2026 include AI features such as a built-in chatbot or AI Assistant? If not, are there any plans or indications that these AI capabilities will be introduced in a future OAS release?
