FTE is rounding up in Person Management

Hello Team

There is a discrepancy in FTE value display. In Person Management, the FTE is rounding up whereas in RUI the FTE is shown to its full decimals.

For example, if Working hours = 31 and Standard = 40 then

Person Management it shows 0.78

RUI it shows 0.775

Backend it shows 0.775

Could you please explain why it is rounding up at Person Management and is there a way to handle this?

While not knowing the exact case (OA/OBIEE doesn't have any content out of the box), is it a "visual rounding" (the measure is set to 2 decimals vs 3 or is it rounded at the query level?

Did you try changing the column properties to 3 decimals?

Below are my comments:

• Is it a "visual rounding" (the measure is set to 2 decimals vs 3 or is it rounded at the query level?
  • It is just a visual rounding which is happening only at Person Management, in the RUI pages, it is displaying all the decimals.
    • At the query level it is displaying all the decimals.
• Did you try changing the column properties to 3 decimals?
  • I tried checking it through customization but no luck.

If you can provide any insight, would be great.

I have the impression you are using a tool that isn't fully OA/OBIEE but some pre-built content, something that you maybe can't change.

Because changing the column property to display 3 decimals it's 3 clicks and job done.

If you aren't allowed to edit the analysis and change that because it's some pre-built content, you should ask your admins in case they have more privileges, or raise the issue in the product category.
