Why do you need that?
OAC being fully managed you have the dedicated "Open in the cloud" button in the Model Administration Tool.
I just want to run "nqcmd" option to run a logical query script in my local system where I have installed my Oracle Analytics Admin Client Tool. To run this "nqcmd" then we need to configure ODBC dsn for oracle analytics cloud BI server in local system.
I would say you can't, because it's OAC.
The port isn't exposed, you can't connect directly and that's why the Model Administration Tool required that new button that doesn't use a defined ODBC connection in your system but goes through a proxy or something like that.
I don't remember having seen something mentioning a direct connection was possible.

I am wondering that I am able to connect online admin tool in cloud using SSL option(cacert file - shared) and just checking if there is any similar way like this to connect to oracle analytics BI server using odbc system DSN. I can see there is an option in odbc dsn for SSL property as well and I am not sure how this works. Now, I am learning that it is not possible to connect in this way as you said in above comment. Thanks!
The thing is that the Model Administration Tool only asks you for hostname and port number, because OAC has something special in place. I didn't look into the packets exchanged between the Model Administration Tool and OAC, but my guess is that there is a proxy in between and I can't even say if it is an ODBC connection at all or just a kind of webservice or something like that.
As you have a need that required the ODBC connection, you can try by opening an SR asking for an official answer. But the fact that OAC is a kind of black box I doubt they will make efforts to give you an ODBC access to it...

I scheduled the report in OTBI and the agent was run successfully. However, I do not receive the report after the run in my inbox. The addresses are properly recorded, and the report is in an excel format and saved as a pivot table in otbi. What can be the cause?
Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
