How to add attachment to Item Category and have it populated on PO? (EBS, R12)

Hello Community,

Could someone tell me is it possible to add item attachment (category: To Supplier, short text) automaticaly to items from few Item Categories?

The issue is to have this attachment (note to supplier) automatically populated on PO while adding Item to PO from that Item Category.

Is there any API I can use, or is it possible at all? (EBS R12)
