Can a KPI be filtered by a prompt which has a "Between" or "Greater than" and not only "Equal to"..
HI
I have few KPI's in my dashboard and I'm trying to force them to filter by a date between X and Y.
I tried many ways but it seems as if the KPI and then the KPI watch list could meet only a filter which is equal to - for example equal to a specific date but not if it is between dates.
Not like the behavior of regular reports.
Any one know if this is an option ??
Thanks
Yossi

The basis of a KPI is AS AT ... needs 'inventory style' measurement ... The KPI then has a context and is highly defined. Being able to change the date range (or any other filtered attribute) at run-time for a KPI makes it a different KPI. That converts to a management and monitoring nightmare.
Sales for the past 2 weeks is not the same KPI as Sales for the Month ... Targets, Alarms, Benchmarks, Averages and Current values are all different.

OSSM is built on the fundamentals and foundation of KPIs -- so it behaves differently than an online-analysis tool like OBIEE/Answers.
