[OBIEE 12c] Tables duplicated after using data-model-cmd to upload rpd

Dear Experts,
There is an issue found while we were uploading rpd by using scripts datamodel-cmd.cmd. it shows successfully uploaded and server is running properly, but some of the tables in physical layer and business layer were duplicated, and even when we tried to upload a rpd from test env(new content without sample lite) to prod(only sample lite exists), the sample lite content remains while new content from test env was uploaded, it is acting more like merge operation rather than replacing the default rpd.
So just wondering if there is any resolution or any clue to trace this error? Thanks a lot for your help and input in advance.

This is weird. You're the second guy I hear this from after @JeromeFr and honestly this more than disturbs me. So far I haven't been able to reproduce this.
What precise version and setup do you have/use?

Thanks Christian for your prompt reply, it is actually a slightly older version 12.2.1.1.0, but you are right, in most of projects even by using this version, it does not have this problem at all...

And the is server on a linux OS, while we had tried both ways to upload directly in Linux with .sh and upload in Windows through cmd. Neither works though...

Well...you're Oracle...kick whoever you can as hard as you can so we finally get to know how that blasted -D control falg for the uploadrpd works and what the heck it actually does?!
I already created an SR for this. Do the same - the more the merrier and maybe they finally and for ONCE provide a usable answer to a question.

Hi Christian - I have already did that as per your suggestion. Thanks a lot and good luck for us.

Can you close this thread please? It's still marked as "Not Answered"

Find out the solution for it after months... With latest release 12.2.1.2.0, this issue does not occur, obviously it might be a issue of previous release 12.2.1.1.0, thanks Christian again!
