Hello,
we've experiencing problems logging in with firefox v53.
We're running obiee 11.1.1.9.0
Once entered user and password the login page is showing endlessly.
Anyone can help?
thank you,
Daniele
Hi Daniele,
Does it works fine with another browser?
Was it working fine before Firefox 53? (like with 52 or previous release)
If you answer yes twice the issue isn't OBIEE but Firefox: no idea what they changed in v53 but something maybe related on how JS act/react and so it's not working as before.
Hi Gianni,
yes. It's work fine with Chrome or older Firefox.
I was wondering if someone knows if there is a special firefox set up to make it work again.
Regards,
Wasn't 53 the one which introduced the check for secure/unsecured credentials controls?
Still weird since I don't have this issue with any instance.
@2673018 are you really on 11.1.1.9.0 - so dot zero?
Just did a quick test:
With FireFox 53.0 (32-bit) I can perfectly login without issues on a 11.1.1.9.0 (Build 150415.1247 64-bit) OBIEE.
So ... not sure the exact version of your OBIEE but if it's a .0 then it's not really a Firefox issue (I didn't change or set anything special in my Firefox).
Did you try the classic clear all data? (cookies, cache etc.)
i'm really 11.1.1.9.0 and now everything is working.
I cannot explain what happened... i've replicated this issue on 2 separete laptops (in addition to user's one). I 've also tried with private navigation on firefox but obiee was still not logging in.
Thank you for the help guys!
