Does anyone have a GUI screen for uploading RPD's in 12c?

Our OBIEE is installed on Linux servers, and we do our RPD development on Windows machines.

We do not have access to the Linux servers.

In 11g, we just use the EM to upload the RPD, and everything works fine. Simple point and click.

We are planning on moving to 12c, and now uploading an RPD seems like a hassle, expecially

since we dont have access to the Linux server. This seems like a step backward.

We would like to know if anyone has developed a simple point and click interface to upload the RPD, much like how it is done

in the EM in 11g.

    Hi,

    You maybe missed a detail on how the new command to upload/download a RPD in 12c works: you don't need to be on the server at all.

    If you installed Admintool on your windows laptop/workstation, you have the command there locally to upload or download a RPD from the linux server without touching the server at all. Of course you need an admin account in your OBIEE install to have the rights to do the job.

    (Search locally for datamodel.cmd and you will see it works just fine)
