12 c Upgrade : RPD is throwing an error
Hi All,
Does anyone have any experience to fixing the following issue in 12 C RPD BMM layer after the upgrade. Really appreciate if someone could shed some light on it. Its working fine in 11i.
ERRORS:
Business Model
[15048] Logical table: DIM : XXX must be a descendant of the root logical table in the associated dimension, according to logical many-to-one join relationships.
[15001] Could not load navigation space for subject area YYY.

11g was a lot more lenient with messed up (read: plain wrong) RPD configuration. Could be your dimension has sources which are snowflakes with the outliers being on the "many" side of a one-to-many join. So basically your outlying flakes change the granularity of the query ... which is just wrong in terms of dimensional modelling
