Hi !

[OS - Windows 8  | OBI Ver - OBIEE 12.2.1.0.0] [ Using Catalog manager in offline mode]

Problem :

It is about Catalog Manager Create Report utility.

The output is not getting saved in Excel format even after selecting the Excel option.

When you explicitly try to save the file in xlsx or csv format, the output in the file being saved is not separated by any delimiter.

It just that all the result is either in one line or a column. I mean the data is not delimited by comma or tab.

Am I missing anything ?

    Did you try to change the extension manually to .xlxs and try to open using excel? what happened?

    I agree everything is coming in single column

    Yes, I tried it but it fails to save the data in proper format, I mean data being shown was without any deliminator.

    It's like all the file data gets saved in a single row and column. Something like that.

    Seems you dont have excel driver. Please open in other server where excel is installed.
