Trying to add customized menus to the Dashboards across all users in OBIA 11.1.1.9

Question

Hi,

I have a customer who is trying to modify the dashboards to possess customized menus in them.

They are using Java script and Jquery for that.

when they locally modifies in the page inspector, the changes are reflecting but when they are trying the same in common.js file, it's not working.

is the file being customized is not correct?

We would like to know the steps to be taken for  this customization to come over.

In general you can create any custom link you want when following the documentation: Configuring and Managing Analyses and Dashboards

If this is not enough for you then I guess Thomas pointed you in a possible direction: create your own custom portal and embedd / consume the web catalog content in it.

Not completely but they are trying to modify the BI dashboard header with additional menus created using JS and Jquery.
