I've just installed OBIEE 11.1.1.9 with a view of converting my Discoverer EUL however I cannot find the MigrateEUL executable.

I'm looking under Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/server/bin. Am I correct in thinking that this utility is no longer available?

You will have to get it from an older version like 11.1.1.7

Good to know, I just need to find someone who has downloaded an earlier version and is willing to share. I advised the developer that the best course of action was to recreate the worksheets manually from scratch, but that didn't go down well. Do you know of any document that describes the steps involved? This is for someone with nil experience in OBIEE.

    Many Thanks.

If I recall correctly, the migration tool doesn't migrate the worksheets, only the model (it's been years, I even have forgotten how the Administrator part was named)

And really, the only one I migrated was a mess, with names so long that when you create a new analysis you have to move the cursor to get to the name of the dimension/fact you want to use, the logical querys when you try to debug things are endless, with names repeated in the structure.

It's better to create the RPD from scratch, and use the migration to do a clean up of your reports and rethink them as you can use OBIEE features. Maybe use the migration tool, but to take a look to how simple things are done while you learn RPD modeling and build your own RPD, but don't you just translate what you have in Discoverer to OBIEE.
