Master Detail with Detail Views in 2 seperate analysis

Hello Community,
I try to make a dashboard with 3 Analysis. One will be the master view in the column on the left. 2 will be the detail views in a new column on the right. I tryed with putting both details in one section and in two seperate sections. The result is always the same. The event seems to be fired but none of the details is changed. As soon as I remove one detail analysis from the dashboard the event works fine and the remaining detail analysis is filtered accordingly. I must use two different analysis as details as I use different filters.
I tried ie:
And chrome:
Version 59.0.3071.115 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)
BI Version: Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.2.0
Oracle documentation says it is possible to have n details to a master in different analysis. Why does this not work?
See the screenshots of my dashboard to better understand what I try to archive:
I'm thankful for any help with the topic or further information.

Hi,
What you try to do is supposed to work and works fine on a 12.2.2.2.0 (OAC based).
Can't exclude if it isn't a bug or something on your version (12.2.1.2.0), will need to spin up an instance and gives it a try there as well ...

Good news (ok, not really but ...): 12.2.1.2 doesn't work with 2 details and is ok with a single one, same result as yours.
MOS doesn't seem to have a note about this issue, so not sure if it's fixed maybe in the 170418 patch. (I have en environment with that one, just can't start it right now because lack of RAM )

I had the same issue recently, did the same tests as you and couldn't work it out either.
We used patch 24452329 (search it on MOS), which resolved it (it says it relates to 11.1.1.9 but there's a 12.2.1.2 download version)

The patch doesn't seem to resolve it in all instances / on all OSs though. Did you patch directly on 12.2.1.2.0 or 12.2.1.2.170418 and on which platform?

Hello Dan, Hello Gianni,
Thank you so much for your help. I will try installing the patch as soon as possible and will come back here when I have results. Do you know a release date for the 12.2.2.2 for on premise versions?

a) It will more likely be 12.2.1.3 from what we could glimpse through some inadvertent exposures inside MOS
b) What platform are you running on because the Windows Versions of 12.2.1.2.0 for example shouldn't have this issue at all
c) No official timeframe exists and you won't get one that you can hold them to. SAfe Harbour and all...

Just for the records:
12.2.1.2.0.170418 patch doesn't fix or change anything: 1 detail = works, 2 details = not working
(on OL 7.3)
And of course the patch posted above by @DanPryke is now conflicting with the 12.2.1.2.0.170418 bundle patch ... Thanks Oracle

Apologies, I've lurked enough to know to give more information... we were on a fresh install of 12.2.1.2.0 on Windows x64

That's peculiar. I'm running the exact same version of OBIEE on the same pltform and it works perfectly fine even if IE is a tad older at...639 instead of your ...697

Tried the one-off patch already?
