OBIEE: What is the default time for bi server cache to expire

Hi

What is the default time for bi server cache to expire and can we control it like the way we control it for presentation server cache using the tags in instanceconfig.xml as below

    Each and every single table object in the physical layer of the RPD has these settings:

    As we have several tables we are not going with this option.

    Does it mean until we purge the bi server cache this cache stays in there in the files?

    Yes it will. Caching is something that always requires a well thought out and intelligent caching strategy.
