Hi,

I created a report in OBIEE. I am seeing the required Result. On the Results, I see a button which says "Show how results will show on a Dashboard".  In that I like "Fuse". Now I want to set that as default view on the dashboard.

How to go about it? Basically how to save the required style. It is not easy identifiable on how to achieve this. Kindly help me.

  • The style can be defined at the dashboard level by going into "dashboard properties".

Thanks again! So is this not possible to be set at report level at all?

I guess you mean "analysis" and not "report".  And the answer simply is: "No". The styling happens on the dashboard, not on singular objects. You can set a default style and skin for the whole application in the instanceconfig.xml if you want all to be displayed the same way but styling / skinning happens on application or dashboard level.

Thanks! I realized it sooner I updated because it clearly said "Show how results will show on a Dashboard".  So it is applicable only at dashboard level.
