Older version but give you a good idea how you tell your mapviewer where is the DB with the spatial data is.
Still Google return things like https://bisoftdiary.com/obiee12_mapviewer_setup_part1/ which does the same job on 12c (so you see that version is kind of a detail for that part of the job).

I scheduled the report in OTBI and the agent was run successfully. However, I do not receive the report after the run in my inbox. The addresses are properly recorded, and the report is in an excel format and saved as a pivot table in otbi. What can be the cause?
