Hi there,

I have installed obiee 11g over a linux server, the server got some problems with the hard drive unit and it must be replace. The server administrator is asking me before changing the drive what archives and directories need to be back up.

Can somebody help me? what do I need to back up?

    Easiest on Linux: The whole, complete Middleware Home directory.

    Depends on what you want to end up with though.

    Middleware home as Christian Berg said and the MDS/BIPLATFORM database too sir, they both go together to be able to restore to a point.
