withinheirarchy=False
User requested a particular order of Dimension values(char) with Calculated items in between(Not alphabetical). We used Selected steps to achieve this(Report 1). When Analyst user tried to recreate this report(Report 2) he got into issue with the order of Dimension values. They were following alphabetical order and kept calculated items to the end and were not in the order of selection steps. We compared everything in both reports and found them mostly identical. When compared XML, withinheirarchy=False was there in the working report(Report 1). If I include withinheirarchy=False in Report 2 it was working as desired.Does anybody know what makes this included in XML?I will need to give the user what needs to be done in criteria tab instead of changing XML in Advanced tab as most of our analyst users don't have Advanced tab. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Note:The dimension used for selection steps uses parent child hierarchy
ADR, Occupancy revpar are calculated items
Thanks,
Vineela

Thank you so much Martin, That was very helpful. How do I assign points and mark this answered?

There should be a button to mark the question as correct. Not sure if you still see it after you already marked my answer as helpful.
