Remove/Block access to Published Reporting
Hi all,
I have OBIEE v12.2.1.2.0 installed on Oracle Linux 7.3 x86-64, I need to remove/block access to the following items for specific User/Group/Application Role:
- Published Reporting group from New menu "Report, Report Job, Data Model, Style Template, and Sub Template"
- Published Reporting group from Home page

from the screenshots, its a OBIEE 12C login.
Please login to XMLPServer using xmlpserver link just like below,
https://servername:9502/xmlpserver
login using administrator user & go to Administration window. In the security center, go to roles & permissions, please remove the respective roles where you wish to revoke access.

Publisher isn't managed as a privilege in the OBIEE admin front-end page but by policies. So adjust the policies for the application roles you need to. (forget about users and groups: do things only at the application role level)

In a default OBIEE install you can't do it as security is managed by the Fusion Middleware, going back to application policies.
