Hi all..

this is OBIEE 11.1.1.7

I have agents configured to delivers reports to certain emails ids.

I need to know how I can track this info from audit point of view. SO suppose my agent has been been configured to deliver a report ABC to 5 email ids .. how would I know that report ABC has been delivered to 3 email ids and failed to deliver to other 2 email ids.

Have you checked the scheduler log files?

<OBIEE_HOME>/user_projects/domains/bi/servers/obisch1/logs

There are also the scheduler DB tables in the RCU schema - S_NQ_SCHED, S_NQ_JOBS,S_NQ_JOB_PARAM, S_NQ_INSTANCE

Thirdly, you can look at the Job Manager client tool

I would also use a 'real' e-mail account, then you can have an administrator or programmatic equivalent check the inbox for notifications from e-mail failures, this can be a useful extra check for when people leave the company and the BI team are the last to know...

On top of what Joel said, you can take the problem from the other side (outside OBIEE): your email are delivered via a mail server (SMTP), so look at the logs of your SMTP and you must find out exactly which email has been sent and to whom.

But that will not give me report information .

All depends on how the report is sent and the amount of logs the SMTP has (like attachment names, subject etc.), a lot less friendly but just another option on top of others.

The easiest is obviously what Joel said: it's generated by OBIEE, so of course it has the best links with OBIEE content.

Okay So I checked all these and I could not find the information what I am looking .

The tables don't have any email address .

The location

<OBIEE_HOME>/user_projects/domains/bi/servers/obisch1/logs doesn't exist.

My Job Manager don't have any agents

Very strange that you don't have any jobs in your Job Manager. Also, you said "Okay So I checked all these and I could not find the information what I am looking ." what exactly did you find?

Thanks ..but what i found is not the what I was looking for ..I am looking to find on how I can find the email recipients to whom the agent has delivered the report or list of all the email recipients that agent is configured to deliver the reports .

Can you check in your system/table if its there .
