OAC - Enterprise Security Option?
We are looking at migrating to OAC (i couldn't find an OAC specific board, if there is one, i'd love a link) from OBIEE 11g. In 11g, we use our MSAD for authentication and would like to use that in the cloud. The OAC version we purchased does not include IDCS, which I know has the ability to sync to MSAD via an Identity Bridge. without IDCS, are we forced to create native users via OAC's weblogic LDAP? Our users would obviously prefer to use their network credentials rather than having a separate cloud account to manage.
any help is appreciated.

So there isn't any OAC community yet and...yes; pretty much what you're stuck with unless you can ssh tunnel to your MSAD.

thanks fort he reply. Network concepts aren't my forte, how would that compare to setting up a VPN? same? different? We are looking at setting up VPN to allow OAC to connect to on premise sources. Would that also get us the ability to configure OAC's weblogic to connect to the on prem MSAD? Is the interface similar/the same as on premise bi/weblogic?

If you have a VPN to your sources then the same connection - just on a different port with a different protocol - will allow you to access your MSAD as well.
