We are trying to Import tables from Db2. When we try to import we see the below error. Oracle asked us to install Db2 Client and import tables through DB2 CLI (Unicode). But still we see this error. Please guide if anyone came across this issue.

Did you set the required DB2 environment variables?

    Like LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Every time I had this issues itwas because of missing env variables. Check MOS Doc ID 2104125.1

Ok that's just weird. Have you tried installing the Admin Tool and libraries on another PC?

Yes we did. Even on Server it's same. We are not able to make Connection to DB2. On server also Db2 admin installed Db2 client and environment variables are created.

We can Import tables if we use ODBC 3.5 but again Oracle says that is not recommended. We deployed RPD with ODBC connection and on analytics we see communication error  connecting to remote address error.

Then use ODBC. Telling you to use something which does not work is supremely useless on their part.

Using ODBC we are able to import the tables into RPD. but when we check on the Analytics it gives us communication error or ODBC memory allocation is full. We already updated the odbc.ini file on the server with DB2 connection information.

What version of DB2 and OBIEe are you using? Also, what OS are you using?
