Hello, kind community!

Facing with weird obiee behaviour while setting up writeback functionality.

All steps of guideline passed, editable fields appearing, buttons appearing, even writing to database is working...

Just editable fields are not in focus: while clicking on field cursor disappearing immediatly and not possible to edit data.

I can edit data only by holding mouse in "clicked" position

Does anybody knows how to fix this?

Thanx a lot

That sounds weird. 11.1.1.9...what? Which exact version? There were 12 versions of 11.1.1.9. as you can see in Doc ID 1488475.1

    11.1.1.9.0 (Build 161222.0051 64-bit)

As previously discussed on these boards ideally I would fix it by using Apex instead of writeback for that purpose for so many reasons... try it, it is that rare combination of free, easy to use and rapid to develop with.

But on your specific issue what browser are you using and have you tried an alternative to eliminate that as your issue?

Also, have you checked your browser security settings, with IE I usually make OBIEE a trusted site and ramp the trusted security down to a minimum.

I try IE, Firefox and Google Chrome - no difference.

I checked another avaliable BI server (11.1.1.9.0 (Build 150415.1247 64-bit)) - everything working fine on the same repository and database.
