enable the "Import" button of DV in the OBIEE environment 12.2.1.4

Hi.

We are wanting to enable the "Import" button of DV in the OBIEE environment 12.2.1.4

We found this note:

OBIEE 12c: How To Enable Data Visualization [.dva] Export | Import functionality ( Doc ID 2216712.1 )

However this note informs you that it follows the following version:

Business Intelligence Server Enterprise Edition - Version 12.2.1.2.0 to 12.2.1.2.0 [Release 12c]

We can consider this correct procedure also for version 12.2.1.4 of

OBIEE?

NOTE: We have performed this procedure in our development environment and it enabled the button correctly, as version 12.2.1.4 is new, I do not have sure if I can consider this procedure correct for version 12.2.1.4, for this reason I ask.

    I would raise this directly with Oracle as it may be that the documentation is not in line with the current OBIEE version. If you raise it with them, they’ll up the documentation.

    Yes, the referenced doc applies to 12.2.1.4 as well.

    I do not believe you need to do anything to enable this in 12.2.1.4. On the DV homepage (http://<host>:port/dv), open the Navigator pane on the left and click Projects. Then, on the right side click the three line icon next to "Create" and you should see an "Import" button already. I've tried it with some DVD content and it works great.
