recover from upgrade

Hi All ..I just did an upgrade from 12.2.1.2 to 12.2.1.4 and all went well . I want to restore the env back to 12.2.1.2 state. I have the backup of fmw folder . So shall i just remove the existing fmw folder and have the backed-up one in its place . thanks

If you're on Linux that normally works ad is enough

But the what about database - the schema are upgraded too.
"Upgrading Product Schemas
After stopping servers and processes, use the Upgrade Assistant to upgrade supported product schemas to the current release of Oracle Fusion Middleware."So do we have to restore the database as well apart from fmw directory?

Yes, you should/must restore/recover the database to the (nearly) same point in time...
