Date Descriptor ID column in OBIEE

Hi,
I think you're making it too complex by using the Descriptor ID. I don't think you really need to use it.
You're already on the right track, but you should forget about the Descriptor ID on the Month Name. Just delete all that Descriptor ID stuff and use a 'plain' filter on Month Name.
If you have created a physical join between your Time (Month) Dimension and your Fact Table based on "Month End Date" = "Fact Table"."As Of Date" the join will take care of filtering the fact table.

Stijn0
