Remove Add Email Recipient button from OBIEE Agent

Hi,

Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.1.0

We are looking for a way to hide/remove Add Email recipient button while creating Agent. This is to prevent users from sending reports to non OBIEE users. I tried the option "Deliver Agents to Specific or Dynamically Determined Users". After setting, button is removed, but users won't be able to add other users users from the Active Directory.

    Have you tried managing this via the Oracle BI Presentation Services Administration page:

    Hi Joel,

    Tried that option, but email button is still there.

    I noticed that the button is disabled, if you select Recipient for the Run As option on the General tab. Any way that could be used to control this feature in the way that you want?

    If you only want to remove that one button you'll have to hack the core files of the application itself. There is no "one permission".

    Thanks for the confirmation Christian. Only reason we look for this option is to comply with the license policy.
