Hi,

i am using OBIEE 12.2.1.2.0

Sometimes when my analsys results in no data it gives me the sentence, The combination of parameters...     resulted in no data,  and on some other analysis  it gives me the exact parameters ,

why is sometimes the user friendly setence and sometimes parameters...?

    I think this will be helpful, i will put my custom  message on all analysis, but for now both of my analsys have Display Default Message and still different messages are shown?

    With just a table / pivot table or similar and no other views presented in a compound analysis / dashboard page?

    The exact message in second case is

    The layout of this view combined with the data, selections, drills, or prompt values chosen resulted in no data

    and in first case

    'almost'?

    What is different to make you say almost?

    Does one have explicit filters and the other respond to 'Is Prompted' and / or have 'Prompted' sections in its presentation?

    They both have explicit filters and 'is prompted'  , when i put custom display when no data, it applies on first analysis but on the other it does not it is stil the same message
