Hi everyone,

i've Problems with OBIEE Answers, Version 12.2.1.2.0. In the past i used 11.1.1.7.150120 and i had a lot of analysies. I exported my whole catalog and imported it to my new Environment 12.2.1.2.0. Now i have in some analysies page breaks between every object (for example title, static text, tables) and in some not, when i Export them to PDF. The settings in all analysies are the same.

In Attachement 01 is the result page of one of my analysies in OBIEE 12.2.1.2.0. When i go to "Export to PDF" then i got the result, shown in Attachement 02.This behaviour doesn't concern all my analysies, but a lot.

I don't find any Settings for page breaks between title, static text and tables. Can someone help please?

Kind Regards,

Michael

Have you tried checking the width settings for the 'container' for your entire analysis, is there any correlation between which page break and which don't?

i.e. My working theory is your width is outside the page and so causing the pdf to wrap and put a page break in

Though this looks more likely ->

You need a MOS account to log in.

Hi Robert, thanks for your fast answer.

The page breaks in table Settings (section --> Page breaks) are correctly. I have repeating tables but the page breaks between them are not my Problem. My Page breaks are located between the title, the static text and the following table

    Kind Regards,

    Michael

It is on individual elements, see the [A] control?

But see my other post - there is a known issue in My Oracle Support (I cannot post details it breaks licensing agreements) you just need a valid customer log in to access it.

    Hi Robert,

the Width-Setting are not set. Looks like in all Analysis.

I saw your other Post and read the articlein My Oracle Support. That issue describes the page breaks between tables or table sections. Thats not my Problem. I have Page breaks between tables and the title or the static text.

    Kind Regards,

    Michael

And you don't have anything that could be causing wrap of content (unbroken text will force a wrap as it cannot be wrapped without spaces) or html / jscript that could be causing the issue?

Sorry, have you also checked your dashboard frames for sizing there, if it is being printed from within dashboards?

    Hi Robert,

i create a new title only with text 'Test'.

I put this title above my Table.

    I create a PDF.

    I have a Page break.

If you put the table above itself do you get the same behaviour?

This is in a compound layout, not in a dashboard?

And does the format properties for the text area appear as below; -

(Only in German I am guessing?)
