We are using OBIEE 12c.

We have dashboard with few tabs which contains tables and graphs (line, bar, pie charts, etc).

We are experiencing issue with graph display. It happens that not all graphs are displayed. And it is not stable that always same graph is not displayed.

Have you experienced anything similar? Any suggestion where to check for root cause or solution?

Try unsetting the DISPLAY variables at the server level using the following command and restart the OBIEE service

    unset DISPLAY

    Hi aPsikus,

I am facing the same problem, but mine is coming from a language / translation problem. Before i used FR now its Fr-CA. This change is impacting the display of the graph. I don't know if it can help you !.

If you are using a different language then try to log in english and checed. this is how i discover my problem

    Best regards,

    Ben

On support page Oracle is suggesting two possible solutions:

    solution.jpg

    First one didn't work.

Has anyone tried the second one?

Additional details: can it have any impact if we have more that one cluster in the environment?

Has anyone checked if one of the patches can solve the problem with not displayed graphs?

I guess silence in topic means that no one else experienced same issue.

If the DISPLAY variable is set, my experience is that no graphs are shown at all.

Which version of OBIEE are you on right now? Which OS are you using? In all browsers showing the same?

Release Version: Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.2.0

All browsers, only in PROD env. Funny thing is that it's not always same graphs which are not displayed.

Windows 7, Windows 10. IE, Edge, Mozilla.

For me the graphs were not displayed after some time of creation of custom reports
